Combe Lake

This page is for showing news of what's happening on our lake. I shall be posting photos of my catches and those of other anglers I see there.

But I'm not on the lake all of the time, so I shall miss a lot of good catches. That's where you come in !!

If you catch fish, no matter how small, if you have a camera or phone camera with you, take a photo and email it to me. Give me details of methods and baits. I can then put it on this page, which will show fellow members how the lake's fishing.

We're also keen to see how the lake is fishing, this season, so please supply the information to me.

Otter Fence

Fran Deacon has now put some closure signs on the new gate.

Please make sure you keep the gate shut when it's not being used. If you see it left open, please shut it. If we can keep the otter out, we might be able maintain our stock levels.

Cormorants

The cormorant ropes have been strung across the lake for the winter again. We think they deterred the cormorants from taking our fish, last winter. We hope they work again.
